Everyone’s journey to mental health and wellness is unique. Healing Head and Heart offers compassionate mental health counseling in Florida, providing support and guidance for individuals of all ages. We practice Christian faith-based and evidence-based counseling for children, tweens, teens, and adults. Being trauma-informed allows us to use mindful self-compassion to help heal the hurting parts of adults and teens who have been injured or have experienced complex PTSD.

At Healing Head and Heart, our mental health counselor has expertise in child development with over 18 years of experience in elementary education. She is an AutPlay-certified provider in play therapy for neurodivergent children, and is working at level 2 training to become a registered play therapist. Additionally, she has spent thousands of hours working with teenagers with anxiety, depression, self-harm issues, and peer, parent, and self-esteem issues. She also has special training in chronic pain and illness mental health support. Our counselor also has decades of experience mentoring and walking beside adults through painful transitions and challenges. Her heart is for the hurting.
